Pricing your car for maximum bookings
A practical guide to base price, weekend uplift, and dynamic pricing on FairCar.
Start with the recommendation
Every listing shows a recommended nightly price based on the same year/make/model and similar trims in your city. Starting within ±10% of this recommendation is the fastest way to your first booking.
If you are a brand-new host with no reviews, price 5–10% below the recommendation for your first month. After 3 five-star trips, raise to the recommendation and add a weekend uplift.
Weekend uplift
Friday-Saturday-Sunday demand is 25–50% higher than weekdays in most cities. Add a weekend uplift in Dashboard → Listing → Pricing rules so the platform charges more on those nights automatically.
Dynamic pricing during city events
FairCar tracks major events (concerts, conventions, sports finals) and surfaces a recommended event-night price. You opt in per event; we never raise prices on your behalf without confirmation.
