Host subscription explained — when, why, how much
We only bill in months you earn — and never with a percentage. Here's the math.
The rule
In any month where you have at least one completed booking, your subscription fee comes out of your first payout that month. In any month with zero completed bookings, the subscription fee is $0.
We do not bill your credit card up front. We do not bill you for partial months. We do not raise the subscription based on how much you earn.
Compared to a percentage model
A 25% commission platform takes $250 off a $1,000 month. FairCar would take only the flat subscription — usually a fraction of that. The more you earn, the bigger the gap.
If you are still building up bookings, your subscription is paid only when you actually have a payout to deduct from, so there is no "empty month" cost.
